I was struggling to find decent high resolution images of rendered cables.
The images was needed for products that the company I currently work for sell. So I took it into my own hands to create high quality images of the different types of cables that they sell.
Hope you learn more about cables in the section below.
Surfix Cable
This cable is mostly used outside and underground.
It can consist of 2 to 4 cores and has an extra wire for earthing.
The cable has a protected inner sleeve made from aluminium to protect the inner cores.

General Purpose Wire
These cables are mostly used indoor to connect sockets and lights.
The different colours make it easier for electricians to identify the “return” cable they are working on.
It consists of a single copper core with PVC insulation.

Ripcord
Ripcord applications are normally indoor and are used to connect things like desk lamps and speakers.
Its made up of two copper cores with PVC insulation that is easily split along the seam.

Images was rendered using Cycles in Blender 2.9.
